Parallels

Thus, parallel bars help better processing of the workpiece.

Line Finder

A line finder is a milling machine tool that is used to create a reference between the spindle to the edge of the part. Also known as a pointed wiggler, this tool is mounted on the milling machine’s spindle. After starting the spindle, the wiggler is brought into contact with a piece of testing material, such as steel. If the measurement is accurate, move the table so that the edge of the workpiece is situated in the same spot as the testing material. 

Spring-Loaded Edge Finder

When resetting the milling machine, it is vital to know exactly where the workpiece is. This is where the spring-loaded edge finder comes into the picture. It helps users determine the edge of the part accurately. Comprising two parts, namely the head and the shank, the two are held together by a spring. It can be mounted on the chuck or collet of the CNC milling machine.

Vise Stop

When processing a new part or a new angle of the workpiece, it is key to repeat the part positioning for easy setup and accuracy. A vise stop is used to this end.
